Meet the team behind The Lancet UK Policy Matters

Rob Aldridge
Rob is a speciality registrar in public health and NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow at University College London. Rob’s research at the Centre for Infectious Diseases Epidemiology focuses on tuberculosis and influenza. The Lancet UK Policy Matters perfectly combines two of Rob’s other interests: evidence based policy and public engagement.
Katie Cole
Katie is a Specialty Registrar in Public Health and an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Katie has recently worked at Tower Hamlets PCT and the Health Protection Agency, as well as undertaking research at LSHTM in alcohol marketing and social media.
Louise Hurst
Louise is a specialty registrar in public health. She has been working at University College London, undertaking research the MRC National Survey of Health and Development (1946 British Birth Cohort Study) and is now based with NHS East London and the City in Tower Hamlets. She is interested in the social determinants of health and health inequalities and evidence based practice and policy for public health.
